Commercial Events

Cass County Fair facilities are available for rent for commercial and private events.

New Cass County Exposition Center has event area with seating for 500 (with tables). Total capacity is 1,100.

Weddings

Available Year Round

Pictured: Wedding set up.

New facility can be rented year round (except during Cass County Fair) for commercial and private events. This new facility has heating and air-conditioning. Modern amenities and kitchen are available to renters.

Storage

Boat and RV Storage

We have two buildings available for securely storing your boat or RV. Boats are stored in the 4-H building, while RVs are parked in the Open Class building. The rate is $5 per running foot length of your boat or RV.

Storage space is generally available from November through April.

Miss Cass County is?

Miss Cass County is Miss Plattsmouth, Amy Kerns!

Amy Kerns is daughter of Terry and Sandy Kerns. Amy is a 2009 graduate of Plattsmouth High School. During her high school career, she was active in many various ogranizations including Renaissance Board, Spirit Club and Letterman Club. She also served as a class officer.

Amy's sports activities include volleyball, soccer and basketball.

She expressed her musical interests by participating in marching band, jazz band and indoor drum line.

community involvement was inportant to Amy throughout her school years. She coached third and fourth grade volleyball and is an active member of Church of the Holy Spirit.

Amy will attend University of Nebraska this fall. She will major in biology with a minor in psychology.

She is sponsored by Plattsmouth Chamber of Commerce.

Runner up is Miss Murray, Denae Martin!

Denae is the daughter of Dennis and Dawnelle Martin. She is a 2009 graduate of Conestoga High School.

Throughtout Denae's life she has been active in numerous activities and clubs. her community involvement includes attending Janice Freeburg's Dance Studio for 15 years participating in 4-H for 10 years and being in the Triple B Club.

Denae has served as a member of Nebraska United Methodist Women along wiht helping coach, umpire and assist with youth basketball and softball leagues.

Throughout high school Denae took part in many activities including basketball, softball, track and field, dance team, FFA, band, National Honor Society, Student Council, High Ability Learners, Quiz Bowl, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, speech team and drama.

She will be attending Nebraska Wesleyan University this fall majoring in pre-medicine.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Cass County Agricultural Society is to provide facilities that accommodate a variety of activities. The facilities will be designed and maintained to serve the activities and needs of 4-H Youth, individuals, community and government groups was well as businesses.The primary objective of the Ag Society is to promote, plan and put on an annual Fair for the benefit of Cass County residents for the improvement of our community. There will be a special emphasis on the agricultural history of Cass County, Nebraska. As we celebrate our present successes, we will look and plan for the future and demonstrate an appreciation for the growing business community.
